Dann bist Du bei uns richtig! Wir bei DNS:NET suchen einen erfahrene:n Systemadministrator:in oder System Engineer (m/w/d) mit dem Schwerpunkt Linux, der/die unsere interne IT-Infrastruktur nicht nur betreut, sondern aktiv weiterdenkt und mit aufbaut.

In dieser Rolle liegt Dein Fokus auf dem technischen Ausbau und der Weiterentwicklung unserer Systemlandschaft – den User-Support übernimmt unser HelpDesk-Team.

Wofür wir Dich brauchen

Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung unserer internen IT-Infrastruktur (Schwerpunkt Linux)
Betreuung vielfältiger Fachbereichs-Anwendungen und Speziallösungen
Planung und Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten, Patch-Management und Monitoring
Administration von VMware-Hosts und Storage-Systemen
Analyse, Automatisierung und Dokumentation von Prozessen und IT-Services
Zusammenarbeit mit anderen IT-Teams (z. B. Entwicklung / DevOps, HelpDesk)
Perspektivisch möglich: Weiterentwicklung in Richtung Teamlead oder Fokus auf Security

Was Du mitbringst

Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Systemadministrator oder System Engineer
Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Linux-Serveradministration, optional auch Windows
Erfahrung mit VMware / ESXi, Storage und Backup
Fähigkeit, sich in neue Systeme einzuarbeiten – auch ohne perfekte Doku
Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Sinn für Nachhaltigkeit
Freude an Automatisierung und Wissenstransfer im Team

Then you've come to the right place! At DNS:NET, we are looking for an experienced system administrator or system engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Linux who will not only maintain our internal IT infrastructure, but also actively develop and build it.

In this role, your focus will be on the technical expansion and further development of our system landscape – user support will be handled by our help desk team.

Planning and implementation of maintenance work, patch management, and monitoring
Administration of VMware hosts and storage systems

Collaboration with other IT teams (e.g., development/DevOps, help desk)
Potential for future development: advancement to team lead or focus on security

What you bring with you

Several years of experience as a system administrator or system engineer
Very good knowledge of Linux server administration, optionally also Windows
Experience with VMware/ESXi, storage, and backup
Ability to familiarize yourself with new systems - even without perfect documentation
Independent, structured way of working and a sense of sustainability
Enjoyment of automation and knowledge transfer within the team
